Why LifePack?

We started Life In A Pack after trying out many other survival kits and emergency preparedness packs. We realized that a true adventure pack just doesn’t exist, and most emergency packs consist of a Mylar blanket and a bucket that could turn an emergency into a disaster.  At Life In A Pack, we believe that “The difference between disaster and adventure is preparation.”

The Backpack

Life in a Pack Backpack features

  • Adjustable torso height
  • Gel-padded shoulder harness system
  • Split hip support pads so that it fits all hip sizes
  • Arched internal frame so that your back can breathe
  • Lots of large pockets so that you can keep your gear separate
  • Strong carry handles
  • Lots of straps and loops for attaching things to the outside of the pack
  • Large waist pocket for quick phone and snack access

BioFuel Cook System

Everything needed to cook, anywhere, anytime.  No need for heavy and expensive fuel canisters, this bio stove uses sticks or bio products right off the ground.  It is designed to fit perfectly in the included pot and pan set.

Life in a Pack Sleep System

It just works.  The sleeping bag is designed around the sleeping pad, so they fit together and you don’t slide off the pad in the middle of the night. The pillow is designed to work as a pump for the pad and still be light weight and comfortable.  The pillow is self-inflating so that you have internal support and aren’t just sleeping on air.

Two-Layer Trekking Pole Tent

Be the first to own our 2-Person Silnylon Ultralight Trekking Pole tent.  Tent includes our 100% carbon-fiber Ultralight Trekking Poles.

Traditional tents have complicated pole systems that are hard to set up and easy to break.  For most two-layer tents, you have to set up the first layer and then set up the second layer over the first.  The outer layer cannot be setup on its own.  And the traditional tent is heavy and bulky in your pack.  Our two-layer Trekker Palace solves all of these issues in the traditional design.  It is a 2 man tent that is ultra-light, packs down to the size of a football, set up in 1-2 minutes, uses trekking poles for support, and you can set up each layer separately or together.

The Trekker Palace can be set up in three different configurations, the outer shell only, the inner mesh tent only, or both together for a two-layer tent.
