I bought this tent for a week long hunting trip. Took a little bit to figure out how to set up properly but once set up the way it should I had it in 13 to 20 mph winds, and it didn’t flap like the other tent Slept grate each night in it. Lots of head room to sit up. A ton of space gear not like other 1 person tents that are barely bing enough for just you. And a giant vestibule. 100% worth it for the price.

I used this tent on a 10 night trek at Philmont Scout Ranch with my kids. Overall I was highly impressed, especially considering the cost, but have a few points of feedback. The good: Lightweight, quality construction, quick to set up, double-wall adds options and confidence. The not-perfect: Can be difficult to prevent sag on the inner layer, especially when setting up on uneven ground (some nights I found the mesh touching my face due to sag – this can be minimized with setup practice); could use additional guy-lines on side-panels to better tension in the wind (lots of flapping in high-wind). Although it worked well in light-rain, I have not had the opportunity to test it during sustained heavy rain. Overall, I am likely to bring it back to Philmont next year (but may consider trying a different River Country Model).

First impressin very good. Quality is high and generally i can’t complain
I will thouroughly test it during my backpacking and bike/ motorcyclepacking trips 😉
Only I thought the space over head and feet while lying would be a bit more comfy. It was said 6.5 f and 6.7 f fits well in the tent. Cooking in the rain will be great – lots of space in front on “bedroom”.
Happy 🙂

Great tent, especially for the price. Super lightweight, packs down small, durable, waterproof. Holds up well in windy conditions. I really enjoy the options to use just the inner tent, just the outer, or both together. So far, really enjoying it!

I purchased this tent as a prototype. I was looking for a double wall tent for hot Oklahoma summer camping.
Very durable, packs small, has a ton of room for gear inside, and a large vestibule for just about anything you want to keep under it.
I recently took it on a 1000 mile bikepacking trip from Florida to Oklahoma and used it all but 3 or 4 of the 19 days. I had a little rain and some wind and the tent held up wonderfully. I have just 2 issues… I am 6’3” and I’m a side sleeper. I use a thicker pad because of this. The sides slope at an angle to where my feet and head touch the mesh because I’m 3 inches off the floor with a thicker pad. I remedied this by placing one of my bags at my head and one at my feet to push the mesh away. The second is, you can’t set this or any other trekking pole tent up easily in rocky conditions. The stake out process is a must for trekking pole tents. I think you could tie off the corners with guy lines, but I haven’t tried it. Both of these things are ultimately not a huge concern, but something to think about.
Other than those 2 issues, it’s a pretty amazing tent. I still give it 5 stars despite my 2 issues because those are things that really aren’t damaging to the product itself.

I used this tent for the first time when visiting Red Rock Canyon near Las Vegas in January, 2024. It packs up small and is nice and light, so it was easy to pack for my flights to and from Las Vegas. Setup was very quick and easy. Ventilation was great, and I had no condensation on the tent fly interior in the morning after a long night’s sleep. The best thing about this tent is that it is very roomy for a one-person tent. I’m 6’3″ and 230lbs, and me and my pack fit easily inside of the tent itself. I could have used the vestibule for storing my pack, but I was so comfortable that I didn’t even bother to move the pack. It rained the second night of my trip but not a drop got inside of the tent. For what I paid for this tent delivers above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this tent!

I was sent this tent when I did a review on the Trekker Tent 1 tent. At time the Trekker Pyramid, was a proto type. I took it on a trip in January there was very little condensation in it and the little there was on the outer fly. In May I took it on a trip in southern Arizona. A much better tent. I like the set-up, the choice on how to set it up and a lot of ventilation. I haven’t used it in the rain yet this is why I gave it 4 stars I will give an update when I use it, if it rains in Southern Arizona.
